The route aims to follow the historical road of Saint Martin following the sites that are characterized as important stages of his life and are connected with some texts mentioned by his biographer Sulpice Severe. Along the route there are thousand of cathedrals, churches, places of memory, fountains that bear witnesses of Saint Martin all over the Europe. A pedestrian route is to be launched, comparable with the Santiago de Compostela Pilgrim route, with interpretation of the European cultural heritage.
